Some people want to use HomeSchool Easy Records without entering daily lessons, but still want to track attendance and grades. This can be done and you only need to enter "lesson data" at least once per quarter or possibly once per week. What you do is tally up points-earned and points-possible for each subject (per student) and tally minutes spent on each subject. Then whenever you decide to make a "lesson entry" just enter the accumulated values for points-possible, points-earned, and minutes spent in the Lessons screen. These numbers can become quite large if you only do data entry quarterly, but the results in the Progress Report, Report Card and Calendar screen will be same as if you entered numbers daily.
The only catch is that the Days Att
ended value (in Calendar screen and on the Report Card and Progress Report) will only count days up to and including the most recent day that you have entered a "lesson". So only print these reports after you have just made a lesson entry. Note: future lesson entries are never counted into Days
