General: the program stops working - Database Repair

If the HomeSchool Easy Records database (program) fails to work, first shut down and restart your computer, then try to run HER again. If that doesn't work, the best thing to do is to attempt a repair operation. If a repair doesn't work, the only other thing to do is to reinstall the program then restore your data from your most recent backup disk.

To attempt a database repair...

1) Restart Windows or reboot your PC

- Do not start HomeSchool Easy Records at this time.

2) Click on this sequence: Start->Programs->

Homeschool Easy Records->Maint2

- This starts the Maintenance program.

3) Click on the Repair Database button

- After a while, you should get at message that says

"Database Repair is Complete"

4) Close the Maintenance program and attempt to start HomeSchool

Easy Records. If the repair is successful, the program should

run OK.
