Missing courses/Editing: I can't edit a lesson
Previous Top Next |
| 1) The course isn't set up yet.
| 2) The course type (C=Credit, E=Extracurricular, O=Other) isn't checked in the Lessons Screen
| - On the Lessons form, check the appropriate box where it says "Show:"
| 3) The course is complete. A course is "complete" if it has a completion date and a final grade in Course Setup.
| Also, you won't be able to edit the text of the assignment for a completed course.
| - To make the course show up or to allow edits, temporarily delete the completion date and final grade in Course Setup.
| 4) The start date for the course is not within the current school year as defined in Basic Setup.
| - Double check all of your dates in Basic Setup then in Course Setup (for each course). This is a common error.
| - Course start date must be on or after the school year start date in Basic Setup.
| 5) The course is not checked as a "Home" course in Course Setup.
| - Only "home" courses appear in the course picklist in the Lessons screen.
| 6) You have the Intro Screen open and you went to the Lessons screen by way of the Activities menu.
| (No courses will appear in this case)
| - Go to the Intro Screen and check the little box that says "Check this box to skip this form at startup."
| Now with the Intro Screen closed, re-open the Lessons screen.
