Printing: underscores don't show up on assignments printout

If your Assignments printout is missing some of the lines that should be there, it may be your printer settings that need a change. You can try to increase the print resolution setting as follows...

When you get ready to print, click on the Print menu at the top of any print preview screen. Then...

1) click on the Print Setup menu item

2) in the Print Setup dialog window, click on the Options button

- a printer Properties dialog window for your printer should

appear

4) click on the Graphics item

5) select a "Dithering" setting that is more detailed, such

as "Fine" or "Line Art"

For your printer, steps 2-5 may be different, but the idea is the same -- you are trying to improve the print resolution setting for your printer so that the lines will show up.

An alternate way to get to printer settings is to click on

Start->Settings->Printers

Then find your printer, right-click on your printer icon one time then click on Properties. In there, try to find a setting for better print quality.

If this doesn't work, you may need to contact the manufacturer of your printer to get the latest "printer driver" software (the software that makes your printer work with Windows). Usually they have printer drivers available on their website.

Note: The margin settings you see in the Print Setup window will not be remembered by the program the next time you start HomeSchool Easy Records.
