| Books
Read |
The Books Read tool allows you to track the books read by your student(s). This is done by author, publisher, etc. You can also enter notes for each book. |
| Journal
|
Some states ask that homeschoolers keep a journal, much like a diary, of daily subjects and activities in the homeschool. The Journal screen allows you to filter by student and subject and to print a copy. In addition meeting the requirements of some states, the parents can also journal for their own benefit. This is a great way to keep notes for upcoming students that will be taking the same course at a later date. It is easy to print out a copy of the journal if you need to send it to an umbrella school or to the school district. |
| Course
and Curriculum |
This area provides a report of all courses and the curricula being used for the course. You have the option of printing only credit courses completed in the home or all courses and extracurricular activities.

Intro
Screen |
This is the introduction screen and intital set up for HER. Within 4 quick steps you have set up your program and are ready to begin entering lessons. It can't get much easier than this! |
| School
Calendar |
The school calendar manager is so easy to use! You can enter holidays and vacations once by entering the start and finish dates. This "tells" the program to not count them as school days. You can also indicate weekend school days and abscences. With HER, you do not have to enter each day that your student attends -- only when he/she doesn't attend. This is also where you will indicate the beginning and ending of your grading periods. |
