The "beta" release of HomeSchool Easy Records is your chance to try out an early version of the next official release of the program. Beta software is defined as -- "A version of an application that is made available prior to the official release for the purposes of testing." Before using this beta version be sure to make backups of your RK and LPM data. The risk of using this beta release to be minimal, but I think it's a good idea to back up your data first, just to be safe.

BEFORE getting the download, close HER if it is running.

You can RUN the download right from this page or you can SAVE it to your PC and run it after it downloads. Either way, it will install on your PC.

To tell the version of RK that you currently have, start RK then go to the Help menu then click on the 'About HER-RK' item. You can also see the RK version in the Home window and in the startup window.

If there turns out to be a problem with the beta release, you can always go back to the official release.
